April has a proven track record in leading international and cross-cultural teams and in group and individual mentoring. You can also find April "leading from within" as a generous and collaborative member of teams led by others. She enjoys facilitating meetings and discussions, whether in a classroom, a workplace, or a church.
LEADER
I have known and benefited from April French's natural leadership for more than two decades. Her leadership was evident as she served as the captain of the high school swim team and later the assistant coach of that same swim team in our hometown of Powell, Wyoming; worked as Women’s Ministry Director for the Foundation for Christian Discipleship in Laramie, Wyoming; and was a personal mentor to me when I was a high school and college student. In the summer of 2002, April co-led an international project to Tuva, a remote part of Siberia. I was a member of that team, which consisted of students from universities in Wyoming, Colorado, Michigan, and two Siberian cities. She led our team with grace, humility, and strength. Many of those who were on that team then went on to do additional international work.
